Hope everyone had a good weekend! Lehi wrapped up August with Heritage Day on Saturday, including the parade, historical displays, classic cars, food trucks, and this year’s community honorees. Earlier in the week, locals also had Dog Walk Wednesday at Ashton Gardens, Skyridge volleyball, and Itty Bitty Soccer for the younger kids.

Now it’s Labor Day week, and Polynesian Days is the big one to look forward to. The festival starts Friday at Thanksgiving Point with Pacific Island food, performances, sports, and cultural activities, including the Master of Flame fire-knife competition. Saturday also marks the start of Big Jack’s World and the Spot the Hobbit scavenger hunt at the Outlets, while Lehi families can help another family closer to home through the ongoing Ronald McDonald Family Room donation drive.

Lehi Serves Day of Service Returns Sept. 12: Lehi residents are invited to volunteer during the 5th annual Lehi Serves Day of Service on Saturday, Sept. 12, with projects taking place throughout the city. Volunteers can help improve the Legacy Center and Sports Park grounds or join indoor projects at Willowcreek Middle School, including assembling food kits, stuffing teddy bears and making blankets. The day will conclude at noon with a ceremony at Willowcreek honoring local service heroes with the Lehi City Service of Excellence Award, and residents can sign up for projects through JustServe.

Skyridge Football Rallies for 21-14 Win Over Orem: The Skyridge Falcons earned their first win of the season with a 21-14 comeback victory over Orem on Aug. 22 following a lengthy lightning delay. Skyridge scored twice in the fourth quarter, including a 43-yard touchdown pass from Jagger Fountaine to Omarian Sanders and Beckham Bennett’s game-winning 4-yard run with 3:35 remaining. The Falcon defense made crucial fourth-quarter stops and recorded three sacks, helping Skyridge improve to 1-1 ahead of its Aug. 29 matchup with New Jersey’s Hun School.

With summer nearing its end and school routines settling back in, this easy Saturday plan gives families a few hours of fun without taking over the whole weekend. Start with bowling, grab a casual lunch on Main Street, then finish with fresh focaccia to enjoy there or bring home for later.

Start the day with a few games of bowling at Jack and Jill Lanes. It’s an easy indoor activity for families when late-summer days are still warm, and the Lehi location also has an arcade and laser tag if the kids want a little more activity before lunch.

The bowling center is currently operating, and Saturday hours are listed as 10:00 AM to midnight, making a late-morning visit a good fit. Because lane availability can vary, especially with groups and events, checking with the bowling center before heading over is a good idea.

After bowling, head toward Main Street for lunch at Nachos Live. The local Mexican restaurant offers a casual stop that works well with kids, with options including its signature nacho trays, quesadillas and family-sized combinations.

Current listings confirm the restaurant is operating at its Main Street location, with Saturday hours of 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM. That gives you plenty of time for a relaxed lunch before continuing west along Main Street for the final stop.

Finish the outing at F'kosh, a local bakery specializing in handcrafted focaccia baked fresh daily. Pick up a loaf for later or choose one of the bakery’s sweeter options for an afternoon treat, giving everyone something to look forward to after lunch.

F'kosh is currently operating downtown, and current listings show Saturday hours from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Since both Nachos Live and F'kosh are on Main Street, the last two stops keep this outing conveniently centered in the same part of Lehi.

Lehi Planning Commission Work Session – Thu, Sept. 3, 2026, from 5:30 PM–7:00 PM at Lehi City Hall, 153 N. 100 E., Lehi. The Planning Commission will hold its regularly scheduled monthly work session, where commissioners review and discuss planning and land-use matters affecting the city.
