How’s your week going? Hope things have been going well. Last week had plenty happening around the area, from local markets and community gatherings to concerts and family activities. If you made it out to any events, we hope you had a good time enjoying some of what the community had going on.

There are a few things worth putting on the calendar this week. Imaginaria is in its final week at Thanksgiving Point! Zootopia 2 outdoor movie night is also happening on Friday and Dog Walk on Wednesday for those who want to bring their pups along. There’s also Pride & Prejudice at The Ruth, the Timp Arts Theater Fundraiser Concert, Willowcreek Seventh Grade Day, and Lehi High football against Mountain Ridge on Friday night.

Final Week of Imaginaria at Thanksgiving Point – Families have one last chance to experience Imaginaria before it closes for the summer. Pride & Prejudice at The Ruth – The Ruth presents a new stage adaptation of Pride & Prejudice for audiences looking for a theater night nearby. The production runs through November and offers a classic story, live performances and a date-night option in Pleasant Grove. Learn more here.

Lehi High Football vs. Mountain Ridge – Cheer on the Lehi Pioneers during a Friday night home football game against Mountain Ridge. It’s a local way for students, families and neighbors to support the team and enjoy a fall sports tradition as the season gets underway.

Zootopia 2 Outdoor Movie Night – Wrap up the summer movie series at Thanksgiving Point with an outdoor showing of Zootopia 2 at the Waterfall Amphitheatre. Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy a family movie night outdoors as Imaginaria enters its final week.

Lehi Football Enters New Season with Defensive Strength: Lehi High School entered its 2026 football campaign with senior Briggs Jensen leading a rebuilt offense and an experienced front seven expected to anchor the defense. Coach Andy Hadfield also added former Pioneers Kade Moore, Drake Knowles and Dallin Holker, all members of Lehi’s 2017 championship team, to his coaching staff. Despite being projected to finish last in Region 3, defensive coordinator Jared Harward believes the Pioneers could surprise opponents this season.

Lehi City Launches Personalized Community Alert Hub: Lehi City has launched Lehi Connect, a centralized service for emergency alerts, road and utility updates, recreation programs, events and other city news. Residents can select their preferred topics and receive updates by text, email or phone, while utility customers automatically receive essential service communications. The platform is replacing Everbridge for city emergency notifications, while Reserve 911 alerts from Central District Dispatch will remain separate.

If work has been using up most of your energy, this easy Saturday outing gives you a change of pace without taking over the whole weekend. Start with a short climbing session, grab an early Mexican dinner, then finish with a quiet walk at Lehi Family Park as the afternoon cools. You’ll be home before nightfall, with plenty of time left to relax.

Start around 3:00 PM with a short session at the Legacy Center Rock Wall. You do not have to make it a serious workout. Try a few routes, take breaks when you want and give your mind something different to focus on for an hour.

Saturday open climbing runs from noon to 4:00 PM, so arrive by 3:00 PM to leave enough time. No registration is required, but availability is first come, first served. Admission is free for members or $8 per hour for nonmembers, including full-facility access. Climbers must weigh 40–275 pounds and wear closed-toe athletic shoes; children 7 and younger need an accompanying adult.

After climbing, head east for an early dinner at La Fountain. The Utah-based Mexican restaurant offers a full menu, so you can settle in for a complete meal or keep things lighter if you do not want to feel weighed down before the park.

La Fountain’s official website lists Saturday hours from 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM, so arriving around 4:15 PM leaves plenty of flexibility. Prices vary, and the restaurant offers online ordering if you would rather pick up dinner and keep the stop brief. It also places you on the eastern side of Lehi before continuing north to Lehi Family Park.

Finish around 5:30 PM at Lehi Family Park, when the hottest part of the afternoon is beginning to pass. Take an easy walk, spend a few quiet minutes in the sensory garden or find a shaded spot and stay only as long as you feel like. Families can bring towels and let the kids cool off at the splash pad.

The walking and playground areas are open daily from 9:00 AM to sunset between March 1 and November 30. The splash pad operates from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM between Memorial Day and Labor Day. General park use is free, no reservation is required, and dogs are not permitted inside.
