Utah’s Fastest Mile Returns to
North Ogden
Runners of all abilities are invited to test their speed at Utah’s Fastest Mile, a point-to-point downhill race featuring a 350-foot elevation drop along North Ogden’s 1050 East corridor. The fully supported course is designed for personal records, whether participants are running their first mile or chasing a lifetime best. Race day is Saturday, August 1st (less than 3 weeks away!) Align Lehi Open House Highlights Foster Care Support Opportunities: Align Utah welcomed about 150 community members to its Lehi office for an open house focused on raising awareness about foster care and the need for more supportive homes across Utah. The family-friendly event included foster care information sessions, activities for children, live music, food, and a chance to meet current foster parents and learn how residents can help children in care. Align currently supports around 120 licensed foster families through services such as foster parent training, case management, placement support, therapy coordination, and crisis assistance.
NFL’s Garett Bolles Brings Free Youth Football Camp to Lehi: Denver Broncos offensive tackle Garett Bolles hosted his annual GB3 Foundation youth football camp at Skyridge High School, giving hundreds of local kids entering third through eighth grade the opportunity to learn football skills, participate in drills, and receive mentorship. The Lehi native said the camp was a way to give back to the community that supported him, while continuing his foundation’s focus on helping youth grow through sports and positive guidance.

Lehi City Council Meeting – Mon, July 13, 2026, at 4:00 PM in the Lehi City Council Chambers, 131 N 100 E, Lehi. During this work session, the City Council will discuss a proposed Steinway piano policy and fees, Nice Healthcare, paid parking at Dry Creek Lake, and transportation options in northwest Lehi before considering a closed meeting. Work sessions give residents an opportunity to hear in-depth discussions before formal decisions are made at future council meetings.
Lehi Library Board of Directors Meeting – Mon, July 13, 2026, at 7:15 PM in the Overland Trail Conference Room (Room 235), Lehi Civic Center, 131 N 100 E, Lehi. The Library Board will review book reconsideration requests, discuss fall outreach plans, library merchandise, school partnerships, staff recognition, updates to patron conduct and technology policies, and complete Open Meetings training. Residents interested in library services, policies, and community outreach are welcome to attend.
Lehi City Council Meeting – Tue, July 14, 2026, with a Pre-Council Work Session at 5:00 PM and the Regular Meeting at 7:00 PM in the Lehi City Council Chambers, 131 N 100 E, Lehi. Before the regular meeting, council members will receive a Children's Center presentation, a water conservation update, and discuss the Public Safety Impact Fee Study, the certified tax rate, and parking policies affecting Bellaview, educational facilities, and the Historic District.
