There’s also a pretty good mix of local stuff happening besides the flowers this week, from the Legacy Center 5K and city cleanup project to library events and the Baby Animal Festival still going strong.

Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival – Final Week to Catch the Blooms This is the last full week of the Tulip Festival before the displays wrap up for the season, and the gardens are still packed with color. Between the flowers, mountain views, food trucks, and evening hours, it’s still one of the easiest spring outings in Utah for families, dates, or visitors in town. Get tickets here.

Legacy Center Silver Streak 5K – Member Appreciation Race Morning The Legacy Center’s annual Silver Streak 5K is back Saturday morning with a short local race, post-run activities, and a pretty family-friendly atmosphere overall. It’s limited to Legacy Center members, but for regulars there, this is one of the bigger community fitness events of the month. Learn more here.

Beautify Lehi Service Project – Community Cleanup at Salix Park If you’ve been wanting a simple volunteer opportunity close to home, this city-backed cleanup project is probably the easiest way to jump in. Residents will help clean and improve areas around Salix Park as part of Lehi’s ongoing community beautification efforts.

Utah Dough Show – Utah’s Big Dessert Competition Comes to Lehi Bakers and dessert vendors from around the state are heading to Thanksgiving Point for this pastry-focused food event, with tastings, competitions, and a charity fundraiser built into the day. It’s a pretty niche event, but if you like baking shows or local food events, this is probably your thing.

Lehi Historical Marker Unveiling Honoring the Old Lehi Tabernacle Site – A new historical marker will be unveiled Saturday morning at the former Lehi Tabernacle site, giving longtime residents and newer families a chance to connect with a small piece of local history. Quiet event, but meaningful if you care about Lehi’s older landmarks and community history.

Baby Animal Festival – Spring Farm Days at Thanksgiving Point Baby goats, lambs, piglets, chicks, and hands-on farm activities are back at Curiosity Farms this week, which makes this one of the stronger family picks around Lehi right now. Easy choice if you’ve got younger kids and need an outdoor activity that doesn’t require much planning. Learn more here.

Mazes & Brain Games Member Preview Night – One-Night Interactive Exhibit Preview Thanksgiving Point members get early access Friday night to the new Mazes & Brain Games exhibit at the Museum of Natural Curiosity. It’s one of the more unique one-night-only events this week, especially for families with kids who like puzzles, hands-on activities, and interactive exhibits. Learn more here.

New Lehi Retail Center Begins Construction in Silicon Slopes: Work has started on The Collective at Morning Vista, a 134,000-square-foot retail development in Lehi along the I-15 corridor between Salt Lake City and Provo. The project will be anchored by Whole Foods Market and is expected to include dining, retail, fitness and service tenants, with Bamboo Sushi, VIO Med Spa and Petfolk also confirmed. Developers say the center will include outdoor gathering areas, patios and community-focused design, with the project expected to be completed in roughly two years.

Lehi Historical Society Honors Carter Airport Legacy: The Lehi Historical Society unveiled a new historical marker honoring Carter Airport, which once operated near 600 East and Airport Drive and helped shape aviation training along the Wasatch Front. The marker recognizes Vern and Jessie Carter, whose aviation work through Carter Airport, Carter Flying Service and Carter Sky Ranch Airport left a lasting mark on Lehi and Utah aviation.
