Hey neighbors!!
Did you get out much last week, Lehi? Between $5 Tuesday, Garden of Quilts, the Lehi-Skyridge game, Bunco Night, and Sunday’s ice cream social, there were plenty of reasons to leave the house. Now we’re officially into the part of September where pumpkins and fall flowers start taking over.
Cornbelly’s opens this week with the corn maze and pumpkin festival back at Thanksgiving Point, and Thomas & Friends opens to the public at the Museum of Natural Curiosity. Later this week, Ashton Gardens brings out the dahlias and sunflowers for the Autumn Bloom Showcase, and Saturday has the Hunger to Hope walk plus the Raising Up parenting and self-care event.
If this newsletter adds value to your week, consider forwarding it to a friend or neighbor. The more people who are plugged in locally, the more we can surface events, updates, and hidden gems worth knowing about.

Three Cozy Fall Breakfasts Around Lehi

Autumn mornings around Lehi call for pumpkin, cinnamon, maple, and a little time around the table. These three stops offer a bakery treat, a leisurely café breakfast, and a quick locally rooted coffee run. Pick the one that suits your morning, or save all three for separate autumn outings.
Choice 1: Gourmandise Bakery & Café
Place: Gourmandise Bakery & Café – American Fork
Address: 215 E State Street, American Fork, UT 84003
Just a short drive from Lehi, Gourmandise feels especially welcoming when the morning starts cool and crisp. Its pastry case is filled with scratch-made treats, and the current seasonal collection brings pumpkin, caramel-apple, and warm-spice flavors into the mix. The comfortable café setting makes this a lovely choice when you want to sit down and linger awhile.
Order a Pumpkin Spice Latte with the Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Loaf Cake for a cozy autumn pairing. Other seasonal temptations include Swirled Pumpkin Cheesecake, Caramel Apple Crème Brûlée, and Salted Caramel Apple Bread Pudding on the current fall menu. Arrive earlier in the morning for the fullest pastry selection, especially on weekends.
Choice 2: Brick Canvas Café
Place: Brick Canvas Café
Address: 2455 W Executive Parkway, Suite 103, Lehi, UT 84043
Brick Canvas offers a bright, peaceful place to ease into the day near Thanksgiving Point. Its relaxed dining room works nicely for catching up with a friend or enjoying a quiet breakfast before the area gets busy. Although it does not advertise a dedicated fall lineup, its maple, cinnamon, and roasted sweet-potato dishes fit the season naturally.
Order the Maple Cinnamon Brioche French Toast with maple whipped cream and maple syrup from the official café menu. For something savory, the Quinoa Power Bowl combines egg, spinach, tomato, avocado, chipotle aioli, and roasted sweet potato. Visit on a weekday morning for the calmest atmosphere and an easy, unhurried table.
Choice 3: Beans & Brews Coffeehouse
Place: Beans & Brews Coffeehouse – Lehi
Address: 1791 W Traverse Parkway, Lehi, UT 84043
If you’re craving an easy fall coffee run close to home, Beans & Brews is a friendly neighborhood option. This Utah-grown coffeehouse has indoor seating when you want to stay awhile and a drive-through for those busier mornings. Its current seasonal drinks are also pictured on the official menu, so you can see what looks good before heading over.
Try the Pumpkin Pie Fritalia for that classic pumpkin-spice feeling, or choose the Pumpkin White Mocha for something richer. The current menu also features a Pumpkin Shaken Espresso if you still prefer iced coffee when autumn arrives. The Lehi shop opens as early as 5:30 a.m. on weekdays, making it an easy stop before work or school.
